A whistleblowing channel is a space set up by a company so that anyone in its work or professional environment can report, anonymously or confidentially, any irregularities within the company that are covered by applicable regulations.

When filing a complaint, the user may choose to do so confidentially, providing their identification and/or contact information, which will be treated by the Channel Manager with the strictest confidentiality and secrecy, or anonymously, in which case the complainant should not provide any information that could identify them or make them identifiable.

The whistleblower will receive an email acknowledgment of receipt of the complaint, if submitted confidentially, within seven days of receipt. The whistleblower can track the complaint within the platform. The maximum timeframe for responding to investigative actions, if applicable, will be three months from receipt of the communication.

Users who register a report anonymously will be able to view a QR code at the end of the reporting process. It is essential that users retain this code, as, being anonymous, it will be their only means of accessing updates to their report. Users who register confidentially will receive notifications of updates to the email address provided whenever a change occurs.
